Route of the Olive Oil – Museo del Olivo (Hacienda La Laguna)

 

It is located inside la Antigua Hacienda La laguna which dates back from the XVII century and surrounded by hundreds years old olive trees and el Paraje Natural de la Laguna Grande. It is divided into several spaces, three buildings that houses different models of mills (for making olive oil) and a garden of varieties. Thorought the route, it will be shown the different steps to obtain olive oil: since the most tradicional methods to the cultive of the olive oil.

From 10,30 am to 13,30 pm and from 16,00 pm to 18,30 pm (winter and autum).

Organization of other activities in the Museum:

-Visits to the mill “ACEITES LA LAGUNA”, located only to one kilometre to the museum. There, we will see the current process of elaboration of the olive oil and you will be able to taste the different varieties of the good extra virgin olive oil.
